Sweet Lolita Rose Bow

Originally planned to be made for a mini hat, but I was suddenly spurred to make a bow instead using the pink cotton rose with a matching bow. Adorable, isn't it? The lace is one of my favorites. It's handmade by an elderly woman who has crafted lace for a long time, and the quality is incomparable. It doesn't fray at all. It is sturdy, but baby-soft and the pink ribbon embedded is gorgeous. It is a satin ribbon and I normally prefer grosgrain, yet this one is of such nice quality with seamed edges that I'd be a fool to not use it.
